Prize Distribution
The Faculty of Business Administration at GLS?University recently hosted a distinguished prize distribution ceremony to honor the academic achievements and contributions of its students for the academic session 2022–2025. The event, held from 11:00?AM to 3:00?PM, was a vibrant celebration of excellence, dedication, and the dynamic spirit that defines the GLS community. Graced by the esteemed presence of Ms.?Kushambi, a National Award–winning actress and alumna of GLS, the ceremony commenced with a warm welcome from faculty members Dr.?Nupur Rawal and Dr.?Pooja Sharma. Outstanding students from various programs were recognized for their academic performance, leadership qualities, and extracurricular achievements. Special awards were also presented to those who demonstrated exceptional commitment to community service, entrepreneurship, and research, while faculty received appreciation for their mentorship and guidance. Ms. Kaushambi Bhatt shared insights from her own journey, highlighting how her time at GLS shaped her career and personal values. She motivated students to believe in themselves, seize every opportunity, and strive for excellence in all aspects of life—her words resonated deeply, serving as a powerful source of inspiration. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Ms.?Kushambi for her inspiring presence, the dedicated faculty for their support, the students for their efforts, and the organizing committee for a successful event. This memorable occasion not only celebrated individual and collective accomplishments but also reinforced the values of hard work, collaboration, and continuous learning—encouraging all attendees to uphold excellence and integrity in their future endeavors. The event concluded solemnly with the National Anthem.
Mr. Abhishek Jain at The Annual Prize Distribution
The Annual Prize Distribution Event was organized on Monday, 31st August 2023 from 12 noon onwards. the Annual Prize distribution event started with the aim of celebrating the Annual culmination acknowledging the achievements of Faculty of Business Administration, GLS University’ students. The aim of this Annual Prize Distribution event was to reward the deserving students for their persistence, hard-work and earnest endeavors through the academic year. This year to grace the occasion we invited the young, dynamic and immensely talented filmmaker of several critically acclaimed and commercially successful films, Mr. Abhishek Jain. Mr. Abhishek Jain is an Indian film director and producer known for his Gujarati films Kevi Rite Jaish, Bey Yaar, and Wrong Side Raju. In 2021, he made his debut in the Hindi film Hum Do Hamare Do. This year the ceremony included stellar performances from the college band, skit as well as group dance. There were 283 winners of external events who were given awards and certificates.
Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony
Dreams have no boundaries, they are forever alive in the eyes of the dreamers. The recently released and globally acclaimed Gujarati film Mrugtrushna conveys this message and it got acknowledged during the Prize Distribution ceremony of GLS University's Faculty of Business Administration. The co-producer of the film Mr. Burzin Unwala along with the actors Nishma Soni, Karan Patel, Khush Tahilramani and Arya Sagar gave away the prizes and motivated the students of FOBA to participate and achieve more success in the coming years.
Culture Curry & Annual Awards
We at GLSBBA host culture curry and annual awards every year for the students who won amazing and endless prizes throughout the year and to distribute the yearly awards. This year we were delighted to host it offline and among us, we had Mr. Bhargav Purohit a screenwriter, lyricist, and a music composer working with Gujarati and Hindi language; and Mr. Parth Vasavda, Founding Partner, YUVA Unstoppable to motivate students and share his experiences of life with them. There were approximately more than 250 students present and the event was a huge success. Awards for different categories such as Best research paper, best student academic, best participant, the Best student of the batch, and many others were announced.
Culture Curry & Annual Awards
Every year at GLSBBA we host culture curry and annual awards for the students who won amazing and endless prizes throughout the year and to distribute the yearly awards. This year due to pandemic we conducted this event online and among us we had Mr J D Majethia whose a famous actor, producer and director to motivate students and share his experiences of life with them. there were approximately more than 250 students present online and event was a huge success. Awards for different categories such as Best research paper, best student academic, best participant, Best student of the batch and many others were announced. We also bid farewell to the batch of 2017-20 whom we couldnt meet because of pandemic.
Culture Curry 2018-19
On Saturday, March 16, 2019 Faculty of Business Administration (GLSBBA) celebrated its annual prize distribution ceremony and farewell for TYBBA as well as other students. The farewell saw many enthusiastic performances including various dance performances, poetry recitation and video screening. The student audiences could be seen with happy faces with tears in their eyes as they were now embarking in their new journey outside GLS. More than 180 students were awarded around 400 prizes. The eight unique awards for the various best categories are generally the most awaited annual awards during prize distribution ceremony. The farewell bid good bye with snacks, sweets and many nostalgic memories.
Culture Curry 2017-18
GLS (J P Shah) Institute of Business Administration organized its annual function Culture Curry and farewell for the students of last year on 21st March 2018 at GLS Auditorium. It started on a positive note by addressing the students of how they had evolved with a period of time and inviting students to share their 3-year journey in the college with so many ups and downs. Faculties as well as the director of the institute also addressed the students. It was followed by prize distribution in which 300 students had won the prize in different competitions last year with came to around 500 prizes. Lastly different awards were given to the students for different categories such as Best sports person of the year. Best student (academic), Knowledge seeker, Best research paper, Best participant, Best social volunteer, Best new comer and lastly Best student (overall) of the batch.
Culture Curry 2016-17
GLS (J P Shah) Institute of Business Administration organized its annual function Culture Curry at 2 p.m. on 24th March 2017 at Tagore Hall. The function started with the invocation of the Divine by First Year student Samiksha Yadav. It was followed by award-winning street play on Asmita. The event witnessed the performances like Skits, Western Dance, Solo & Duet Dance and Mimicry. Prizes were given away to winners of various competitions and meritorious students. Medha Kumari of the third year was given the Student of the Batch (2014-17) award.
