Orientation 2025
The Faculty of Business Administration (FOBA), GLS University, organized a dynamic orientation program from 8th July to 18th July to welcome new BBA students. The event featured inspiring addresses, academic overviews, creative showcases, and engaging activities to foster learning, leadership, and collaboration. Highlights included interactive classroom sessions, “Club Verse” introducing 15 student-led clubs, expert talks through ‘Samvaad’, alumni interactions, and a unique musical workshop. Leadership games by Kreeda Tantra and visits to Oxygen Park, Science City, and Adalaj stepwell encouraged bonding and experiential learning. The program successfully prepared students to begin their academic journey with confidence and enthusiasm.
Orientation 2024
Orientation 2024 spanned 10 days to get new members acquainted with the culture of GLSFOBA. It began from 21st June 2024 to 26th June 2024. The event included events which oriented the students towards curricular and co-curricular aspects of their academic life on campus.
The students were divided into 18 Groups named after popular cities around the globe and IPL(Indian Premiere League) teams . Several activities were carried out per group to introduce various aspects of their life at GLSFOBA. The event was spread across the GLS University Campus at FOBA Building.
Multiple time slots were made available for all batches. The timings of the batches are *:
JP Hons: 9:00 AM -11:30 AM
JP Hons: 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM
JP Regular: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
The Orientation began with A special introductory session for the new batch was hosted by the institution’s dean, Dr. Shefali Dani.
Further , Several lectures were organized for the new batch to interact with each other and get acquainted with their faculty members for the next three/four years.
These were followed up with a series of students of remarkable ice-breaking activities. GLSFOBA believes that co-curriculariam is equally as important as academics for an individual’s growth. Therefore, a total of 15 student-run clubs are introduced to impart holistic development. “Into the Clubverse” was a comprehensive session conducted to familiarize the batch with the existing clubs, and their ideas, and conduct and promote community culture in the students.
GLSFOBA's expansive campus can be challenging to navigate. To familiarize students with key locations and hotspots, a fun-filled treasure hunt was organized. Students were divided into small teams, each tasked with solving clues that led them to various parts of the campus, ultimately guiding them to the final destination.The winning group of the Treasure Hunt received a chocolate prize, which was well-received by the participants.
The Oreintation concluded with a interactive lecture series known as Samvaad : GLSFOBA’s annual guest lecture series where notable speakers from different walks of life come together to address the students on various relevant topics revolving around “ASPIRE, PERSPIRE, INSPIRE”. This year’s event was graced by luminaires such as :Mr. Jignesh Vasavada, Mr. Sahil Shah, Mr. Bishwaroop Padhi and Dr. Sonal Pandya. The lecture series spanned over two days: 27th and 28th June 2024.
The Orientation concluded with the Annual Talk show Shatranj on 29th June 2024. The event featured the esteemed Mr. Harsh Gupta 'Madhusudhan,' a renowned author and economist. He concluded the session with an engaging one-on-one Q&A.

Orientation 2023 spanned 10 days to get new members acquainted with the culture of GLSFOBA.
The population was divided into a total of 15 Groups named after popular Web series of today’s time.
Several activities were carried out per group to introduce various aspects of their life at GLSFBA.

A special session was scheduled as the introductory session for the new batch hosted by the institution’s dean, Dr. Shefali Dani.

GLSFBA is spread among vast campuses. Thus, to introduce students to all the hotspots and different important areas of the college, a fun-filled treasure hunt was organized.

Samvaad is GLSFBA’s annual guest lecture series where notable speakers from different walks of life come together to address the students on various relevant topics revolving around “ASPIRE, PERSPIRE, INSPIRE”. This year’s event was graced by:

-SHATRANJ: Shatranj, An annual phenomenon pushed by GLSFOBA witnessed the arrival of Mr. Ram Madhav, who is an Indian politician who served as the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party to interact with the students.

Orientation 2022 spanned 10 days to get new members acquainted with the culture of GLSFBA. The population was divided into a total of 13 Groups named after popular Music Bands of today’s time. Several activities were carried out per group to introduce various aspects of their life at GLSFBA. The event was spread across two campuses: GLS and NR. The event included various Dean's addresses, followed by Faculty interactions, Club Activities, and Samvaad Guest lecture series and the event was concluded with the Annual Talk Show Shatranj.
OREINTATION 2021
Faculty of Business Administration (GLSBBA) took great pride in welcoming the 2021-22 Batch of GLSBBA on 26th July 2021. Due to the present COVID-19 pandemic, the Orientation was organised digitally on an online video-conferencing platform - Webex. The total number of students present was 400. It was of 15 days which started with the Director's address and was followed by Faculty Interaction Session, Activity oriented workshops, Alumni and Industry sessions and welcome session by the senior students through introducing various student-oriented clubs and cells. Overall it was an all enthralling two weeks of fun, education, interaction and experience.
ORIENTATION 2020
GLS University and Faculty of Business Administration (GLSBBA) took great pride in welcoming the 21st Batch of GLSBBA on 23rd July, 2020. The Orientation ceremony for the current year was a little different from the traditional Orientation being held year after year in the GLS University's campus. Due to the present COVID-19 pandemic, the Orientation was organised digitally on an online video-conferencing platform - Webex. The total number of students present were 400. It was of 11 days which started with the director's address and was followed by faculty interaction session, different workshops, intro to clubs and finally intro with the class.
